I “awoke” from my dream, then I went to to bathroom like I always do. but when I look in the mirror my eyes were huge and I was terrified. not like my actual eyeballs were huge, but my iris nd pupils covered over twice the amount of surface area they usually do, and they were also wobbling around uncontrollably
Dreams can often symbolize various aspects of our subconscious thoughts and emotions. Your dream seems to revolve around self-perception and perhaps the fear of change or losing control. Here's a detailed interpretation:
Awakening in the Dream: Dreaming of 'waking up' symbolizes a new realization or awareness about something in your waking life. It often signifies that you are becoming aware of a situation previously unnoticed or that you need to pay attention to something important.
Routine Activity: Going to the bathroom suggests a need to cleanse or release something. It could represent the need to rid yourself of negative emotions, thoughts, or situations.
Mirror Symbolism: Mirrors in dreams represent self-reflection and self-awareness. They can signify how you see yourself, how you believe others perceive you, or aspects of your identity that you are questioning.
Huge Eyes: Eyes are often referred to as the "windows to the soul." Seeing your eyes in this exaggerated way can symbolize how you are perceiving something much larger or more significant than it is in reality. This might suggest that you are seeing a situation or an aspect of yourself in an exaggerated light. Large eyes may also point to heightened awareness or insight, as if you are noticing small details you usually overlook.
Uncontrollable Wobbling: The uncontrollable wobbling of your irises and pupils could represent a feeling of instability or lack of control in your life. It suggests anxiety or fear about not being able to 'see' things clearly — metaphorically, you might feel overwhelmed by what you are observing or understanding about yourself or your environment.
Emotion – Terror: Feeling terrified in your dream indicates a deep fear or anxiety in your waking life. This fear could relate to your self-perception, identity, or the realization of something unsettling.
Overall, this dream may indicate a period of introspection where you are trying to come to terms with changes in how you perceive yourself or evaluate your identity. It could also suggest anxiety about things that seem more significant or overwhelming than they actually are. Consider reflecting on what aspects of your life may feel out of control or overly scrutinized and what changes or affirmations may help restore balance and clarity.
